Her legacy
Citizens for Justice, Equality and Fairness (CJEF) Youth Member
Our beloved Nikita was a member of CJEF Youth and served as the secretary.  She displayed awesome leaderships skills for her age.

She contributed beautiful prayers before each meeting.  Her character spoke of strength and courage.  She was very bold in her stance on certain issues involving justice.

Joshua 1:7
Be strong and very courageous.  In her memory, she inspired and motivated the CJEF Youth with prayers and song.  Especially during the organizing of the first Black History Program at Jefferson County High School.  She sang the Impossible Dream.

Her memory can be compared to Martin Luther King, Jr. that she pressed on toward her dreams to see minority teachers hired, a Black History program, and a Black History Class.  Even if all have not come into fruition yet.

I can hear these words in my spirit, words spoken by God to Joshua, "Have I not commanded you?  Be Strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified, Do not be Discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you whereever you go.
